10 TOP TIPS ON WRITING YOUR C.V.

1. Be honest.

2. Be accurate.

3. Ensure grammar, punctuation and spelling are correct.

4. Keep it to a maximum of two pages. Be concise.

5. Make sure it is applicable to the job applied for.

6. Put career in chronological order - most recent first.

7. Do not waffle.

8. Do not fill it up with irrelevant material to pad it out.

9. Try printing it on coloured paper to be different.

10. Remember to tell them why you are right for the job.
